We are thrilled to be among the winning organizations with the KAICIIDA Center to implement 360 Dialogue projects. The Dialogues Project is implemented in 12 countries in the Arab region, KAICIIDA will support 25 initiatives aimed at combating hate speech, responding to crises, promoting a culture of dialogue among religious followers and common citizenship, integrating diversity-supportive education principles, in addition to efforts to protect cultural heritage and religious sites. Launching of the Darfur Weekly Cultural Intellectual Forum in North Darfur

The Darfur Weekly Cultural Intellectual Forum is set to launch soon in North Darfur State, specifically in El Fasher locality. This forum will serve as a secure space for intellectual, cultural, and social discussions, providing an opportunity for different segments of society to share their concerns and explore potential solutions. The forum will convene every Saturday from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Participants are encouraged to register for the forum, ensuring equal opportunities for engagement. The goals of the forum include promoting intellectual, cultural, and social exchange, fostering community dialogues, networking, discussing relevant societal topics, and exchanging ideas and opinions to enhance understanding and knowledge. It is emphasized that individuals can participate in the forum by registering through an online form shared on the organization’s official pages and website. Selection of participants will be carried out by a committee, allowing each person the opportunity to participate only once. Director’s Participation in Rights for Peace Workshop on Combating Identity-Based Violence

As part of the organization’s director’s participation in the workshop organized by the Rights for Peace organization in Uganda on combating identity-based violence in North Darfur, the Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources is set to initiate a series of dialogue and awareness sessions in the state. The workshops aim to address and combat hate speech and identity-based violence. This engagement was a result of the director’s involvement in the workshop held by RIGHTS FOR PEACE in Uganda on combating identity-based violence in North Darfur. The upcoming sessions organized by the Darfur Organization will serve as a valuable platform for dialogue and awareness, fostering efforts to combat hate speech and violence rooted in identity within the state.

Dofdahr meeting with the director of the state police & the Advisory Police Unit in UNITAMS

As part of its tireless endeavor to consolidate the rule of law and the role of the police in the civil state, members of the Darfur organization met with the director of the state police in the presence of the Advisory Police Unit in UNITAMS, in the presence of Major Muhammad Othman. Effectively, the idea of ??reviving awareness-raising workshops and seminars was crystallized, which includes the role of the police in the civil state and the rule of law to reach the integration of roles between the police and society to fight crime and raise awareness of the dangers of drugs, given that security is everyone’s responsibility. #DOFDAHR

DOFDAHR received a commendation from the Environmental Cleanup Initiative

Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources received commendation from the Environmental Cleanup Initiative under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Urban Development for its outstanding contribution to the initiative. The recognition ceremony, presided over by the Director-General of the Ministry, Engineer Al-Mahi Al-Sheikh, witnessed the presence of organization member and founder, the Executive Director of the Graduate Employment Agency, Mr. Mohammed Abdelqader Jallab, and the organization’s director, Mr. Bahaa Al-Din Bushara, among other dignitaries from the Ministry and volunteers from both the organization and the initiative. The honor extended to the organization was represented by volunteer Taysir Idris Ahmed Mohamed, acknowledging her significant role in the initiative. The event showcased the collaborative efforts between the Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources and governmental bodies in promoting environmental well-being.
