As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional performance and build staff capacities, the Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources (DOFDAHR) organized a specialized workshop on Grassroots Strategic Planning in Kampala, Uganda.

The five-day workshop was held from 28 December 2025 to 2 January 2026, bringing together DOFDAHR office managers alongside representatives of active national youth organizations.

The training was facilitated by expert Dr. Mahjoub Salim and focused on practical tools and participatory approaches to strategic planning that respond effectively to community needs and priorities.

This initiative comes within DOFDAHR’s broader strategy to invest in human capital, enhance institutional capacities, strengthen coordination among national organizations, and achieve more sustainable humanitarian and development impact in the communities it serves.
