Mobile Awareness Campaign in Tawila – North Darfur

As part of the Emergency Assistance Project for Displaced Persons and Host Communities to Combat Cholera and Promote Public Health and Hygiene, and with support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources (DOFDAHR) conducted a mobile awareness campaign on 11 November 2025 in several areas of Tawila, North Darfur.

Through the mobile microphone activity, health messages were repeatedly broadcast in communities such as Um Jangour, Shakshako, and Ab Jangour New IDP site, reaching a total of 2,370 people (1,120 males and 1,250 females).

The campaign focused on promoting handwashing, safe water use, and hygiene practices to prevent cholera and other waterborne diseases.
