As part of the Emergency Assistance Project for IDPs and Host Communities, aimed at combating cholera and promoting health and hygiene awareness, with support from IOM Sudan, Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources (DOFDAHR) continued its field activities in Nyala, South Darfur, during October 2025.
The activities included home visits to 30 households, reaching a total of 223 individuals (99 males and 124 females), with 204 direct beneficiaries.
Additionally, a community awareness session was conducted, engaging 23 participants to discuss cholera prevention measures and the importance of personal and public hygiene
