As part of its ongoing response to the cholera outbreak, the Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources (DOFDAHR) conducted a series of awareness activities in October 2025 in Nyala, South Darfur.
The activities included two community dialogue sessions benefiting 70 participants, focusing on cholera prevention measures, personal hygiene, and water safety. In addition, home visits were carried out, reaching 30 households with a total of 203 individuals (108 males and 95 females), including 164 direct beneficiaries.
These efforts form part of DOFDAHR’s emergency response to curb the spread of cholera and to support the most vulnerable families in affected communities.
