In response to the humanitarian appeal launched by the High Committee for Emergencies and Humanitarian Organizations in El Fasher, and as part of efforts to provide life-saving emergency food assistance, the Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources (DOFDAHR), with support from Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), today distributed food baskets to 83 newly displaced families at Al-Doha Center in Neivasha Camp and the Shelter Center in Al-Sahafa Square in El Fasher.

The distribution will continue tomorrow to reach an additional 200 families across other IDP centers in the city.

The project specifically targets elderly people, persons with disabilities, and the most vulnerable households, as part of DOFDAHR’s ongoing efforts to support those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Darfur.
