With support from Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), volunteers from the Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources (DOFDAHR) carried out a food distribution activity targeting the most vulnerable and needy families at the IDP camp in the Riyadh neighborhood (Riyadh Mosque and Ansar Al-Sunna Mosque) in El Fasher.

A total of 50 families benefited from this initiative. Each family received a food basket containing:2 kg of sugar2 kg of flour2 kg of rice2 kg of lentils2 bags of pasta1 bag of salt4 liters of oil5 kg of onions.

This intervention comes as part of DOFDAHR’s ongoing efforts to support internally displaced persons and strengthen community resilience amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Darfur.
