As part of its ongoing efforts to control disease vectors and in preparation for the distribution of plastic sheets and mosquito nets, volunteers from the Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources (DOFDAHR) continued a mosquito spraying and control campaign at the Al-Thawra South Basic School for Boys Shelter Centre in El Fasher.

The campaign aims to improve sanitary conditions in displacement centres and reduce the spread of vector-borne diseases, especially with the onset of the rainy season.

DOFDAHR confirmed that spraying campaigns will continue in the coming days across other shelter centres to ensure a safer and healthier environment for displaced families.
