With generous support from a philanthropist for the people of El Fasher amounting to 500,000 SDG, a team of volunteers from the Darfur Organization for Development and Human Resources (DOFDAHR) carried out a food distribution initiative at the shelter center of Al-Thawra Secondary School for Girls.
A total of 25 food baskets was distributed to the most vulnerable families and persons with disabilities. Each basket contained essential food items, including flour, rice, lentils, oil, and sugar, aimed at alleviating the current food insecurity faced by displaced and affected households.
In addition to the philanthropist’s contribution, DOFDAHR and its volunteers contributed 15,000 SDG to support the initiative.
DOFDAHR expresses its sincere appreciation to the generous donor and all volunteers who contributed their time and effort to make this humanitarian intervention possible
