On 7/4/2021, DOFDAHR organized an awareness session for policemen by conducting a lecture on the role of the police in the context of a civil government in Sudan. The session was attended by 40 policemen from different sections of police: Traffic police, migratory and passport police, civil registry, civil protection, prison police, wildlife police, and tourism police.
The session opened with the presence of the State Director of Police. The session focused on the importance of the police in the civil government as it is the mechanism for the application of laws. The lecture also corrected the notion that civil government is against the military government, the lecture emphasized that the basis of the civil government is the prevalence of the rule of law, and it is the core duty of the police.
